ABOUT DR KAREN GANGOTRA

Dr Karen Gangotra qualified from Guys & St Thomas’ Hospital with a Certificate of Merit in 2001. She is the owner and founder of Smilessence which was opened July 2007. She has completed her Masters in degree in Implantology with Distinction. Her focus and vision is to provide unparalleled patient care and offer the highest quality dentistry available today.

She has a special interest in advance restorative, aesthetic, facial and surgical dentistry. Dr Karen Gangotra’s high standard of work has been recognised and awarded in the dental world leading her to become a judge for the Dentistry Awards.

She herself has won many awards including “The Best Teeth Whitening Award”, “Removable orthodontic work,” “Minimal Invasive Bonding” and “Best Smile” in Aesthetic Dentistry.

Dr Gangotra enjoys treating nervous patients and has been praised by both adults and children for her informal and relaxed approach to dentistry. Dr Gangotra has provided smiles for clients, models and celebrities.

She has a special interest in CEREC- Cad Cam technology and has been an active user for over 15 Years. She regularly demonstrates Cerec procedures to fellow dentists and is heavily involved with CEREC as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL).

Dr Gangotra is a committee member for the Sterling Dental Foundation. A charity event sponsored by Smilessence, raising money for Great Ormond Street. The whole team attends this event annually.

Smilessence sponsors the local Molesey Regatta every year. Attended by Dr Gangotra and some team members.

GIVING BACK – EDUCATING LOCAL COMMUNITY

Educating pensioners on the links between gum disease ( periodontal disease) and diabetics, systemic disorders. Lecturing on oral health education and oral health products.

Helping feed the local community as well as the homeless.
