A bridge is a restoration that replaces missing teeth, thereby “bridging” the gap (or space) between two teeth. Fixed bridges are cemented into place next to the surrounding teeth on either side of the space. Bridges are an ideal choice when the supporting teeth on either side of the gap are healthy and strong.
